My amazing husband

It is no surprise to those who know me that I have the most amazing husband, but even when I think he is as amazing as he can be he goes and does something that blows my mind again.  I've had a couple of really rough days.  I don't really know why, I just have.  Well, let me tell you how wonderful my husband is.  He actually hasn't felt well all week.  He has had a head cold or allergies or something so he hasn't been sleeping very well.  I haven't been sleeping well either, but for obvious other reasons so last night I have a melt down.  It wasn't pretty, but it happened so he slept in the living room thinking if by chance I did fall asleep I would sleep better if he wasn't coughing all night next to me.  Well, I did sleep decent until 1:45 this morning, but then my mind wouldn't shut off and I realized he wasn't in bed.  :(  Then we get to work and I had one of my big meetings first thing so after my meeting he comes to my desk and says, since you've had a rough couple of days I want to give you something.  Now, most of you who know us know that this could have been expensive... :)  Lucky for me, it wasn't like that at all.  He said, I am going to give you my rock.  I was like, what?  He literally hands me a rock.  He picked it up when we were in CA at the cross and has been carrying it around in his bag this entire time and said I could hang on to it for a while so it might make me feel better.  Then he tells me not to lose it (really?)  LOL!  That has to be one of the sweetest things he has done in a long time and he does a lot of sweet things.  I just love that man and I don't know what I ever did to deserve him, but I'm certainly glad I did it.

  1. Okay, Tami. You know I get emotional when it comes to you. So, of course, I'm teary eyed. I soooo wish we were closer to, okay better yet....in AR. But, I have to admit that Tebo (being as amazing as he is) helps calm my stress level when it comes to being so far away from you. I hate it but on the other hand I know you are very well taken care of by your wonderful husband. Give him a big hug from us and tell him that we said THANK YOU for loving you and being there for you! We love you both and hope to see you again soon!

  3. I am so very happy that you have Tebo. I can only imagine how difficult your life would be today without him. What an incredible thing he did in picking up that rock, I'm sure without ever realizing it would be something that would help you one day. It's amazing, sometimes, how lucky we find ourselves even when we don't always realize it because of our own problems. Love you, Sis. Tebo - outstanding. :)
