Rough week to say the least

Well, Saturday we had the ceremony for Chad and while it was amazing to see his friends there and hear Zach speak it was also heartbreaking at the same time, but we all got through it and had laughs to round out the day and that's always a good thing.
Then Stacy had her meeting with the doctors for her recent diagnosis for breast cancer and it was definitely a reality check for everyone, but no one more than Stacy.  She handled most everything like a true champ and only let the scary parts get to her a couple of times.  In my book, that's pretty dang good.  Today was a really rough day, but turns out, she is allowed to have those.  She just can't stay there and I know she won't.
She has a long and hard road ahead of her, but with Leckey and her family by her side she will get through this.
You know, it's funny... People who don't have sisters always say, I wish I had sisters and the ones of us that do sometimes (only sometimes) think, well you can have mine, but when the chips are down and we need each other there is nothing like having a sister to walk through things with you.  I love the fact that I have 4 sisters and I can call on any one of them at any time and they would be there.  My brothers (I have 2) would do anything they could for us, but it just isn't the same as a sister.  They don't take offense to that, because they know it to be true too.  :)
So for those out there that have sisters, cherish them, for those that don't, you can borrow mine any time you need a helping hand.  They might be a bit busy here lately with things we've got going on, but that is yet another great thing about sisters, we always seem to find an extra shoulder, ear, or hand to hold when someone needs us.

Cheers to my sisters!  I love all of you very much and Stacy, we will fight this fight with you!  Sisterhood!
