Oh my, thank goodness Tebo was with me Friday morning. He was certainly my hero (again). I had no clue when we sat down that the monitors would be right there in our faces and I didn't expect to be able to see the pictures they were showing on TV would be right there so immediately the first thing I see before the interview starts are pictures of Chad in Afghanistan and it choked me up. The first question he asked me it was all I could do to choke back the tears and answer. When my voice cracked Tebo knew it was show time for him (bless his heart).
I was tickled with the job the interviewer did and I feel he truly explained what we are ultimately trying to do for our troops. It could not have gone better. One of my sisters came for support and encouraged us both the entire time. Thank you Dawn for being there.
